Canada Express Entry CRS score calculator?

I'm planning to immigrate to Canada through the Express Entry system and want to assess my eligibility. I've started gathering my documents, but I'm confused about how my profile will be scored. Can someone explain how the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score is calculated for Express Entry, and perhaps point me to a reliable online calculator to estimate my score based on factors like age, education, work experience, and language proficiency?

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is Canada's points-based system for Express Entry. Here's how it works:

CRS Score Breakdown (Max 1,200 points):

Core factors (max 600):

  • Age: up to 110 points (optimal: 20–29)
  • Education: up to 150 points (PhD = max)
  • Language (English/French): up to 160 points
  • Canadian work experience: up to 80 points

Spouse factors (max 40):

  • Education, language, work experience

Skill transferability (max 100):

  • Combinations of education + language + work experience

Additional points (max 600):

  • Provincial nomination: 600 points (guaranteed ITA)
  • Job offer: 50–200 points
  • Canadian education: 15–30 points
  • French language: up to 50 points
  • Sibling in Canada: 15 points

Recent CRS Cut-offs (2025):

  • General draws: 480–510
  • Category-based draws: 380–470
  • PNP draws: 680–750

💡 How to Boost Your Score:

  1. Improve IELTS/CELPIP scores (biggest impact)
  2. Learn French (TEF/TCF)
  3. Get a Provincial Nomination (+600!)
  4. Gain Canadian work experience
  5. Get a valid job offer (LMIA-backed)
